The Journey's Start
Hi, I'm Atharva Gadekar. In 2021, while prepping for my JEE Mains , I built a simple online practice tool—and fell head first into web development. Since then, I’ve explored HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express and MongoDB, and sharpened my problem-solving by tackling several coding challenges.
Technical Expertise
Today, I'm an SDE-1 at Zepto, where I help in improving and optimising Go microservices and PostgreSQL systems that process millions of orders each month. I'm also a Full-Stack Web Developer with a passion for creating impactful projects.

Zepto
- •Implemented a feature which the way Scrap works at Zepto PAN India, leading to reduction in shrinkage discrepancies, collaborating with App and Web Teams.
- •Implemented a feature which saved Rs 0.25 p/order due to reduction in defects amounting to over Rs 3L saved p/month.
- •Optimized the Customer Order Flow, by migrating certain assignments towards the end, allowing for reduced defects.
- •Implemented several other tech and product tasks within given deadlines collaborating with QA and other teams
Morgan Stanley
- •Designed and implemented a Grafana Observability Dashboard for 4 Apache Spark Clusters & 2 Springboot Services
- •Utilized OpenTelemetry Collector and Java Agent, resulting in a 5 fold increase in monitoring capabilities
- •Used Prometheus for storage of 30+ metrics for each master, 40+ workers, 50+ executors and Tempo for traces storage
- •Configured Fluentbit for tailing last 24h logs and forwarding across the infrastructure & used Loki for log aggregation

- •Built Admin Side for Buzztro, an Ecommerce Startup, using NextJs and Typescript
- •Leveraged refine.dev, an Open-source Retool for Enterprise
- •Authored critical features including authentication, product management (variants and categories)
